The 48th Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Sports Championship 2023 organized by MILO® successfully commenced on 23rd August. Here are some highlights of the event.

The long-awaited inter-school aquatic encounter, the 14th Schools’ Novices Swimming and Diving Meet organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Sports Association was held from the 13th to 14th (Girls) and 19th to the 21st of August (Boys) 2022 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Swimming Pool Complex. The event was held after a two-year hiatus due to the health regulations implemented in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, returning stronger than ever with over 5,000 school swimmers across the nation taking part in the competition.

A leading aquatic sports event in the country, the 47th Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Championship organized by the Sri Lanka Schools’ Aquatic Sports Association, was held between 7th and 11th December 2022, at the Sugathadasa Indoor Swimming Pool Complex, Colombo. Under the categories of Girls and Boys under 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 years, with the participation of nearly 5,000 male and female swimmers from 232 schools all over the island.
